About Series:

​​​​​​I am here to make your weekly meal prep just as easy and enjoyable as the rewarding meals that follow rest of the week!

It's time to say bye to eating same meal for days on end - I will guide you to prep 3 unique meals in under 2 hours; without being overwhelmed by planning. 

We will start with a small grocery list and basic cooking skills. As we master these, we will graduate to advanced skills and acquire additional pantry items. 

You will learn:

  • Efficient preparation
  • Scaling recipes
  • Portion sizes, snacking suggestions
  • Kitchen hacks + brand recommendations
  • Proper storage of each ingredient + meals

WEEK 1: A few basic supermarket ingredients and 3  unique meals that can be easily customized for most dietary preferences!

​Menu:

  • Crispy Chicken and root veg with lemon and thyme
  • Chicken and cheese quesedillas with pico de gallo and cilantro-lime crema
  • Honey Ginger salmon(tofu/chicken) with veg and steamed rice
  • Please Note: Vegan protein substitutions included for ALL recipes 

Pantry Ingredients:

  • neutral cooking oil
  • salt+pepper
  • honey 
  • soy sauce
  • distilled white vinegar OR rice vinegar
  • rice
  • optional:sesame oil,extra virgin olive oil

 

Fresh Ingredients:

  • chicken leg quarters OR bone-in chicken thighs
  • root veg of your choice: potatoes,carrots,parsnips,beets,sweet potatoes
  • lemons
  • optional:lime
  • sour cream OR mayo
  • Thyme (dried will do)
  • tomatoes
  • onions
  • ginger
  • garlic
  • broccoli/green beans
  • cilantro
  • jalapenos
  • Tortillas or lavash
  • tex-mex cheese
  • salmon or any other protein of your choice
  • optional: any tex-mex seasoning of your choice,oregano

Great Taco Tuesday class! The Tinga tacos were amazing, I highly recommend this class. Avantika is great, amazing knowledge. I can’t wait to do another class.
